- You must keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
1. Acceptance Of Terms
By creating an account, submitting a case, or using any feature of the EFJ platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and any other applicable policies.
2. Eligibility
To use EFJ, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements.
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and use.
Medical experts joining our network must hold valid, board-certified credentials in their respective specialties and comply with all professional standards.
3. Platform Use
You agree to use the EFJ platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent case information.
- Attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you.
- Use the platform to harass, harm, or discriminate against any individual.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the platform.
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the platform without prior written consent.
4. Expert Responsibilities
Medical experts registered on EFJ agree to:
- Provide honest, objective, and professionally sound assessments.
- Maintain up-to-date credentials and notify EFJ of any changes to their licensure or standing.
- Comply with all applicable medical and legal standards in their jurisdiction.
- Maintain confidentiality of all case information shared through the platform.
5. Intellectual Property
Platform Ownership
All content, features, and technology on the EFJ platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by EFJ or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
User Content
By submitting content to EFJ (such as case details or feedback), you grant EFJ a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content solely to provide the platform services.
Restrictions
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without express written permission from EFJ.
6. Confidentiality & Data
Case Anonymisation
All case data shared with medical experts is anonymised in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
HIPAA Compliance
Medical and case information is handled in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Users must not upload information that violates any applicable privacy law.

EFJ provides a platform for connecting users with independent medical experts. Assessments provided through EFJ are professional opinions and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
No Legal Advice
EFJ does not provide legal advice. Any information on the platform is for informational purposes only.
As-Is Service
The platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. EFJ makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the platform.
8. Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EFJ and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the platform.
- Any errors or omissions in expert assessments.
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.
- Any third-party content or services linked from the platform.
9. Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@efj-demo.figma.site.
By EFJ
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County.
